Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine all dough ingredients until smooth.
- Knead the dough for about 5 to 10 minutes until elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and let rise for approximately 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Prepare the filling by mixing together brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter until well combined.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread softened butter over the rolled-out dough and sprinkle with filling mixture.
- Roll tightly into a log and cut into 1.5-inch pieces.
- Arrange cut pieces in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 to 45 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
- Make frosting by beating together cream cheese, unsalted butter, ube spread, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Frost warm rolls before serving.
