Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the pumpkin puree and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir until just combined.
- In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for the topping.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over this layer. Pour in the remaining batter followed by another sprinkle of cinnamon-sugar on top.
- Using a knife, gently swirl through the batter to create a marbled effect.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
