Instructions
- Pound the chicken breasts between plastic wrap until they are even in thickness.
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels, then rub both sides with olive oil and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil or butter to the pan.
- Sear the chicken for about 5–6 minutes on each side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
