Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white apple vinegar (or chicken broth)
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 thick slices of French or Italian bread
- Garlic butter (made by mixing softened butter with minced garlic and parsley)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread garlic butter on each slice of bread and arrange on a baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic; sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Season shrimp with salt and pepper; add to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and vinegar or broth; simmer for 1-2 minutes. Stir in lemon juice and mix until smooth.
- Return shrimp to the skillet; toss to coat with sauce. Serve immediately in bowls alongside garlic bread.
