- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 package (1 lb) puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage and chopped onion until the sausage is browned and onions are translucent. Drain excess fat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage mixture with cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 3×3 inch squares.
- Place a spoonful of filling in each square's center and fold corners over to seal tightly.
- Arrange filled puffs on the prepared baking sheet and brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
