- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup jelly or jam (your choice)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas and combine them with peanut butter, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together; then add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Add dollops of jelly over it and swirl gently with a toothpick.
- Top with the remaining batter and repeat the jelly layering and swirling process.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
