- 1 cup heavy cream (+ more to brush the tops)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, sugar, and cold butter until mixture resembles damp sand.
- Transfer to a bowl; fold in apples and then gradually mix in heavy cream until dough forms.
- Knead gently on a floured surface for about 10 seconds. Shape into a circle about ¾ inch thick and cut into wedges.
- Chill for 15 minutes, brush tops with cream, then bake for 13-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare maple glaze and drizzle over cooled scones before serving.
