Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 ounces)
- ½ cup milk
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom.
- Add half of the beef mixture over the potatoes, followed by half of the cream of mushroom soup mixed with milk.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and drizzle melted butter on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
