- 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 pound beef sausages
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water

- Begin by peeling and slicing the potatoes. Slice the onions thinly and mince the garlic. Set aside.
- In a Dutch oven over medium heat, cook the beef sausages until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Remove them from the pot and set aside.
- Add a bit of oil if needed and sauté the onions until translucent (about 4-5 minutes), then add minced garlic for an additional minute.
- Return the sausages to the pot and layer in the sliced potatoes. Pour over chicken broth and water until ingredients are submerged.
- Bring to a gentle boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for about 45 minutes until potatoes are tender.
