- 3 cups Rice Krispie cereal (orange layer)
- 2 & 1/2 tablespoons butter (yellow layer)
- 4 cups mini marshmallows (yellow layer)
- Dash of salt (yellow layer)
- Yellow food coloring
- 4 cups Rice Krispie cereal (yellow layer)
Instructions
- Prepare three microwave-safe bowls by spraying them with nonstick spray. Also, spray two round cake pans.
- For the white layer: In a bowl, melt together butter, marshmallows, and salt in the microwave until smooth. Stir in Rice Krispies and shape into two circles for each pan.
- For the orange layer: Repeat the melting process with additional butter, marshmallows, and salt; mix in orange food coloring before adding Rice Krispies. Layer this around the white circles.
- For the yellow layer: Follow the same method as before with more butter, marshmallows, and salt; add yellow color before mixing in Rice Krispies and layering over orange.
- Cool completely before cutting into slices.
