Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper.
- In one bowl, mix together the brownie base ingredients: sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- For the cheesecake swirl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, an egg, vanilla extract, and orange food coloring; mix until creamy.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the lined dish, followed by the cheesecake mixture. Dollop the remaining brownie batter on top and gently swirl with a knife.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
