Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter (sweet cream)
- ¾ cup sugar
- ⅔ cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 16 oz white frosting
- Neon green gel food coloring
- M&M candies (orange, green, purple)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in one bowl.
- In another bowl, cream butter with sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla; mix well.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until fully mixed.
- Stir in half of the M&Ms into the dough.
- Shape dough into 2-inch balls and place on lined baking sheets; press remaining M&Ms on top.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are firm; cool on wire racks.
- Microwave frosting for about 15 seconds; mix in neon green food coloring.
- Inject frosting into cookies using a flavor injector.
