Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, lemon juice, and flour until evenly coated.
- Pour the apple mixture into the prepared pie crust.
- For the topping, mix flour and brown sugar; cut in cold butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the apple filling.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until the apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
- Allow cooling slightly before serving.
