Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and unsalted butter until smooth; add icing sugar, then mix in an egg and yolk until fluffy.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; fold into wet ingredients.
- Stir in chopped pecans and vanilla essence.
- Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for about 60 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
