  • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300F (150C). Grease and flour a 10-inch tube or bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add the sugar and beat until pale and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. On low speed, alternately add sifted flour and whole milk to the mixture, starting and ending with flour.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract and optional almond extract.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth out the top. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
