  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cocoa. Stir in melted butter, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Spread the batter in a greased casserole dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix topping ingredients and sprinkle evenly over the batter without stirring.
  5. Pour boiling water over the top carefully—do not stir!
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes until set but slightly jiggles in the center.
