Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 12 oz bowtie pasta
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 6 oz Velveeta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (10–11 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Sear chicken seasoned with Cajun spice until golden brown (8–10 minutes). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute, then add heavy cream and milk. Stir in Velveeta until melted.
- Mix in mozzarella and Parmesan until smooth; adjust seasoning.
- Combine cooked pasta with sauce and chicken, adding reserved pasta water if needed to adjust consistency.
- Serve garnished with parsley if desired.
