- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups peeled and sliced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined. Press into the bottom of the pan and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden. Let cool.
- Toss sliced apples with ¼ cup sugar and cinnamon in another bowl; set aside.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth in a large bowl. Gradually add remaining sugar; mix well after each egg addition. Stir in sour cream until smooth.
- Layer half of the cheesecake filling over the crust, followed by half of the apple mixture. Repeat with remaining filling and apples.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes until slightly jiggly in the center. Cool in the oven for one hour before refrigerating for at least four hours or overnight.
- Serve chilled with drizzled caramel sauce.
